Do I need to be referred for treatment by my Doctor?

|
Not necessarily, but it is always advisable to discuss with your
Doctor any health care that you intend to undertake. Priority will
be given to patients who are referred by their Doctor.

What happens when
I go for treatment? |
Your first appointment will last an hour and include a full consultation
and assessment. Details will be recorded regarding your medical
history together with any relevant information that is appropriate
to your treatment.
Please bring a list of any medication that you have been prescribed
by your Doctor and are currently taking.
You will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, which will
be treated in the strictest confidence.
In the case of Reflexology and Kinesiology sessions, patients are
not required to remove their clothing.

What type of treatment
will I need? |
Most patients are unsure which type of treatment they require and
the appropriate treatment programme can be discussed at your first
appointment.

What happens after
the treatment? |
In the case of Aromatherapy you will be
advised:
- not to take a bath or shower for six to eight hours
- not to drink alcohol because massage can heighten the effects
of alcohol.
In the case of all types of treatment you will be advised:
- to drink plenty of mineral water
- to avoid stimulants
- to spend that evening quietly to allow yourself to benefit fully
from the treatment

How many treatments
will I need? |
Your practitioner will discuss with you a plan of treatments and
self-help steps which will assist in promoting a speedier recovery.
Your programme may include advice in the use of essential oils at
home.
Home treatments and self-help can assist in promoting relaxation
therefore relieving stress and tension. Enhancing mental and physical
well-being.

How much do
treatments cost? |
This will depend on the type of treatment and the length of your
appointment.

What happens if I am unable
to keep my appointment? |
A full charge will be made if you cancel your appointment with
less than 24 hours notice.
