Polarity Reflex Analysis
Nutritional Assessment
|
| What is Polarity Reflex Analysis? |
Dr Versendaal spent twenty five years perfecting the use of a reflex
system in which he analysed patient's nutritional needs based upon
the evaluation of the electrical energy of their reflexes.
This was later developed by Angela Burr-Marsden in the 80's incorporating
Kinesiology techniques to determine specific reflex imbalances and
the correct nutritional support required to achieve balance and
monitor the body's progress toward well-being.

Our modern diets!
|
Optimum nutrition is required to keep the human body alive and
functioning properly. The body is an incredibly powerful biochemical/electrical
plant converting the foods that we eat and utilising the vitamins,
minerals and amino acids. It replaces approximately one billion
cells per hour - 24 billion per day all requiring nutrition. It
is vital that the body receives good quality nutrition to keep it
alive and functioning effectively.
In an ideal world if at least 70% of our diet consisted of raw,
fresh fruits, vegetables, grains and nuts that were organically
grown in an environment free of pollution; if cattle were not fed
hormones, antibiotics and steroids or chemically fertilised feed,
our diet would be more beneficial to our needs.
Instead, most foods have been depleted of vitamins and minerals.
Sadly, in our modern world of manufactured foods many people suffer
from a variety of nutritional imbalances and health related symptoms
which can lead to ill health. Research has shown that diseases such
as diabetes and heart disease are known to be nutritionally caused.

|
But I hate diets!
|
Being on a diet does not mean
eating less it just means eating better and food should be a pleasure.
The importance of good nutrition cannot be under estimated. Each
individual has their own dietary needs which are influenced by many
factors including:
|
|
- hereditary
- lifestyle
- age
|
- stress
- health
- activity |
|
There are strong links between poor nutrition and health disorders
for example:
|
|
- Heart disease
- High Blood Pressure
- Arthritis
- Osteoporosis
- Asthma
- Hayfever
- Headaches
- Migraine
- Digestive problems
- IBS and bowel problems
|
- Food intolerances
- Skin problems
- Menopausal problems
- Menstrual problems
- Infertility
- Urinary problems
- Thrush
- Tired all the time
and many other conditions.... |
| What are the benefits? |
Correct nutrition can help boost the immune system and increase
energy levels. Nutrition can help the body to overcome specific
illness by supporting the body's natural ability to heal itself.
As well as being a therapy in its own right, nutrition can enhance
the benefits of other therapies.
|
| What does the treatment involve? |
You will be asked to complete a questionnaire
prior to your first appointment. Based on the information provided
from the questionnaire, your first consultation, using Kinesiology
techniques and Polarity Reflex Analysis Nutritional Assessment (PRANA),
dietary advice and possibly supplements will be given to improve health
and well-being. |
